After nearly ten years since our unsuccessful attempt to bring community radio to Geneva, New York and the surrounding Finger Lakes region, I am pleased to say that Geneva Community Radio is Back, and poised to be better than ever. On February 7th, 2024, Geneva Community Projects, an established non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization, received a Construction Permit from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to build a new low power FM (LPFM) radio station to serve Geneva at 104.1 FM with the call letters WGCC "We're Geneva's Community Connection". We now have a second opportunity to bring a unique non-profit and non-commercial radio service to our community.
