WGCC is pleased to announce the debut of two new shows debuting on WGCC.
The first is tonight, and it's been a long time coming. We're going to air the very first podcast from the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva tonight at 6:30 PM. For now, the plan is to air a new podcast episode from the club every THIRD THURSDAY of the month at 6:30 PM. As interest grows, we can (and will) expand this to other slots. The podcast features music hand picked by kids at the BGC and some brief commentary from each youth. It is the beginning of a very exciting chapter for our radio station. So tune in and hear some of tomorrow's broadcasters today.
On Monday, 10/19, we're debuting a new show from a new broadcaster. Heather's Hot Mess is a brand new eclectic/freeform music show that will air Monday nights at 11, right after our local Grateful Dead show, New Grateful Boogie with JJ Nicholson. Heather spend time between Hutchinson, Kansas and Geneva. She is new to the world of community radio, but she brings her passion for music to the station. You just never know what she will play next! It could be progressive rock, country, boy bands, heavy metal, hip hop, movie music, and whatever else is on her mind and in her library.
Stay tuned for announcements concerning more new shows from Geneva's community radio station, 104.1 FM WGCC!
